Why travel Cambodia with us

A short capital stay or a two-day Angkor visit will show you the highlights, but it also skips most of what makes this stretch of the Mekong worth a longer look. Add a day or two and you can trade the busiest temple circuit for a fuller round that reaches Banteay Srei or Phnom Kulen, or leave the temples behind entirely for the river at Kratie, where a genuinely wild dolphin population still gathers each dry season.

Every route below opens from Phnom Penh or from Siem Reap, and a locally based team runs each one rather than an office overseas passing your booking along, so a flight change or a swapped hotel gets sorted on the ground, quickly.

Frequently asked questions

Can these itineraries be changed?
Yes. Every route here is a starting point rather than a fixed package. Extra nights, a different hotel category or an added stop such as Kratie or Battambang can all be built in once we know what you would like more or less of.
Which trip is best for a first visit?
The 4-day Phnom Penh & Siem Reap tour covers both cities on the tightest realistic schedule. If you have a fifth day to spare, the 5-day version of the same pairing gives Angkor proper breathing room instead of a single rushed day.
How do I get from Vietnam into one of these itineraries?
A river boat runs between Chau Doc and Phnom Penh, so a Cambodia tour here can start straight off that crossing rather than requiring a flight. Note the boat crossing has its own visa rules, covered on our travel information page.
Are the dolphins at Kratie guaranteed?
No, they are wild animals, so sightings are frequent but never certain. The dry season, December to February, gives the best odds, since low water keeps the dolphin population concentrated near the Kampi pool rather than spread across a much wider stretch of river.
Do any of these tours cross into Thailand?
None of the itineraries above do, and for good reason: the Thailand–Cambodia land border has been closed since 2025 with no confirmed reopening date. A Cambodia–Thailand combination currently has to fly between the two, most practically via Bangkok and Phnom Penh or Siem Reap.
